 Join us for Carnival of Cultures' exclusive SCHOOLS' DAY program!

Carnival of Cultures is a three-day festival that celebrates the wealth of Ottawa's vibrant international folkloric community. With hundreds of performing artists participating in the weekend celebration, Carnival of Cultures is Ottawa's largest showcase of traditional music and dance of cultures from around the world.

The festival takes place at Marion Dewar Plaza (in front of Ottawa City Hall) at the corner of Elgin Street and Laurier Avenue, and offers day-time performances and hands-on activities for students between the ages of 7 and 12 years.

Our Schools' Day program takes place Friday, June 10 from 10:00 am. to 2:00 pm. and includes:

• live music and dance performances by local folk performers and children's entertainers
• demonstrations and participatory performance workshops
• face painting
• inflatable play structures
• dress-up in traditional costumes

Cost
$6 per student
$7 per teacher and accompanying adult
